Glossary

Every word on a bonus code, defined

The casinos write their posts in shorthand and the affiliate pages blur the terms on purpose. These are the plain meanings, as the codes on this site use them. Each entry has a permanent anchor you can link to.

Bonus drop code
A short code a casino posts on its official channel that existing players redeem for a fixed cash (or Stake Cash) amount. It is first come, first served against a claim pool or a claim count, and gated on recent activity. Not a sign-up code and not a deposit bonus. How drops work.
Claim pool (Total Drop Limit)
The total amount a code can pay out across everyone, as stated by Stake in 'Total Drop Limit: $2,000'. Pool ÷ value is the number of claims that exist; a $2 code from a $2,000 pool is about 1,000 claims. Cards show derived claims with a ~.
Claims / uses
The number of accounts that can redeem a code before it is dead. Rainbet, Shuffle, Thrill, Goated ('150x uses'), Gamba ('Quantity') and Duelbits publish it directly; Stake publishes a pool instead. Once the count is reached the code returns 'fully claimed'.
Wager requirement (the gate)
The amount you must have wagered in a trailing window to be eligible for a code, stated in the post: 'Requirements: $12,000 wagered in the last 7 days'. It is measured on your account at the casino that posted the code. Below it, the casino answers 'not eligible'.
Wager window
The trailing period the gate is measured over. Stake, Shuffle, Thrill, Goated, Gamba and Winna use 7 days; Rainbet varies it from 2 to 7 days per code, shorter on bigger codes. Cards print it as '/ 4d' when it isn't 7.
Deposit gate
Duelbits' variant: eligibility depends on having made a deposit in the last 7 days, not on a wager amount. Cards say 'Needs a deposit in the last 7 days' instead of a figure.
Value per $1k of gate
Code value divided by the gate in thousands — the rebate rate the code represents on volume you already have. Most codes land at a few tens of cents per $1,000 wagered, on every casino; the comparison page ranks them. Casinos compared.
Stake Cash (SC)
The sweepstakes currency on Stake.us, redeemable for prizes under sweepstakes rules. Stake.us codes pay SC and gate on SC 'played', not dollars wagered. Shuffle.us uses the same model with its own SC.
Gold Coins (GC)
The play-money currency on US sweepstakes sites (Stake.us, Shuffle.us). Shuffle.us drops grant Gold Coins alongside SC; we list the SC part because it is the redeemable one, and GC play never counts toward a gate.
Rakeback
A percentage of the house edge on every bet returned to the player, instantly or on a schedule. Stake's published formula is 5% of the house edge; Rainbet calls its version RakeBoost; Shuffle and Thrill publish their own levels. Separate from drop codes. Rakeback calculator.
Weekly boost / weekly bonus
Stake's Saturday payout to VIPs based on the week's wagering, delivered as a claim link. Shuffle pays a weekly bonus on Thursdays, Winna and others have their own. On this site these appear as named codes with a longer status window. Weekly boost history.
Monthly bonus
Stake's per-account monthly VIP payout, usually between the 12th and 17th, claimed through a link; Shuffle pays its monthly bonus on the first Friday. Amounts are set per account and never published.
'Fully claimed'
The casino's response when the pool or claim count is exhausted. The code was real; you were late. Reader reports on a code page usually confirm it within minutes.
'Not eligible'
The casino's response when your account is under the gate for that code — not enough wagered (or no deposit, on Duelbits) in the window. Nothing to fix except volume. Every error decoded.
High roller drop
A code from a casino's high-volume channel: Stake High Rollers ($12.50–$50, $50k–$200k gates), Rainbet VIP Bonus, Shuffle VIPs. Bigger values, far bigger gates, smaller claim counts.
Relayed code
A Stake weekly boost or monthly bonus claim link that reaches us through a community-run VIP notices channel rather than an official one. We accept only links on Stake's own domains and label every surface 'relayed'. Methodology.
Reader-submitted code
A code someone sent through the submit page — typically a stream, X or Discord drop that never hit an official channel. Published after a human review, labeled unverified, with a 12-hour live window. Submit a code.
LIVE / LIKELY CLAIMED / EXPIRED
This site's age-based status. LIVE: posted within the window we consider claimable for that kind of code (4 hours for drops) and not past a stated expiry. LIKELY CLAIMED: older, usually gone, worth a try. EXPIRED: past the lifespan, kept for the record. Never a verification.
Sweepstakes casino
A US-legal model (Stake.us, Shuffle.us) where you play with Gold Coins and win Stake Cash or Shuffle Cash redeemable for prizes. Codes on these sites pay SC and use 'played' instead of 'wagered'.
