- Is Polymarket a casino?
- No. Polymarket is a prediction market: people buy and sell shares in an outcome with each other on an order book, and the price moves with what they're willing to pay. It's still money at risk. You can lose what you put in, and it's 18+.
- What do Polymarket odds like 62¢ mean?
- A share pays $1 if the outcome happens and nothing if it doesn't, so at 62¢ the market as a whole puts the chance near 62%. As decimal odds that's 1 ÷ 0.62 = 1.61, before Polymarket's fee. It's the crowd's price, not a forecast or a pick from us. The % · ¢ · Decimal switch above the boards changes how every price on this page shows.
- How fresh are the prices on this page?
- Usually within about 15 minutes. We read Polymarket's public data at most every five minutes, the page itself refreshes on the same clock, and Polymarket's own servers can hand out a copy a few minutes old. After a quiet spell a page can be older, so go by the stamp: every board and card shows the time of the data in UTC, and a board whose data is old says "last read" instead. Games that have already started are left off, since their prices move faster than that.
- Is there a Polymarket bonus or promo code?
- No. Polymarket doesn't run a sign-up bonus or promo code on polymarket.com, and the affiliate program we're in sets no discount for you. Our link gives you nothing extra. If you're new and sign up through it, DropSiren gets a share of the trading fees you pay; your fees are the same either way.
- Why can't I see a link to Polymarket?
- We only show Polymarket links where it takes new trades. Your browser checks your country against our list (Polymarket's own restrictions, regulator blocks and a few rules of ours), then asks Polymarket's own location check. If either says no, or we can't tell where you are, the links stay hidden. The prices stay visible either way.
- Can I use a VPN for Polymarket?
- Not to get around a block. Polymarket's Terms of Use (polymarket.com/tos), effective 11 Aug 2026, prohibit using a VPN or any similar tool to get around its location restrictions. Its trade screen asks you to confirm you aren't doing that, and it can limit a wallet that breaks the rule to closing positions only. The law where you live applies as well, and some regulators block polymarket.com outright. We show Polymarket links only where Polymarket and our country list say it's open to new trades, and we don't help anyone get around that.
- Why are some Polymarket markets missing here?
- We only list sports, esports, crypto, tech and culture markets. War, military, terror, death, election and politics markets are left out on purpose, and so are markets about Brazil, where Polymarket is close-only.
- Does Polymarket charge trading fees?
- On most markets, yes, for the taker (the side whose order fills straight away). The fee is shares × rate × price × (1 − price), with rates in Polymarket's docs between 0.04 and 0.07 depending on the category. Makers pay nothing and geopolitics markets are free. At the docs' sports rate, 100 shares at 50¢ cost $1.25 in fees. A single market can carry a lower rate of its own, and each card here shows it.
